Your access to and use of the SCIT app is conditioned on your acceptance of the following statements; please read carefully.
Users must work in compliance with this policy, and with the Information Security: Access Control Policy, the Mobile Communications Policy and the Policy on Recordings (Photography and Video) for Clinical and Service Use at all times.
The SCIT App can only be used when professional clinical photography services are not available or accessible.
Users must login using their own credentials; it is not permissible to share those details with others, or to use others credential to login.
Use of the app will be audited in terms of user, time of access, failed login attempts, data inputting errors, and number of images sent to upload. Users will be notified of any issues in this regard; if ongoing issues, the user will be removed from the authorised list and access to the SCIT app deactivated.
Use of the app will be monitored in terms of image quality, and feedback provided to users. Users who are unable to produce a clinically valuable photograph will be removed from the authorised list and access to the SCIT app deactivated.
Users must ensure patients are fully informed of the photography process using the SCIT app before capturing any images; consent is recorded within the app.
Images captured on the SCIT App are consented for RECORD purposes only (due to the quality of images from mobile devices). In exceptional circumstances, additional consent can be obtained and recorded using an approved consent form. The form should be photographed at the end of the photographic sequence.
